n 2016 I had my first opportunity to do the “ 台灣環島 ” through a
IGiant Bikes commercial tour. This gave me a wonderful experience of

Taiwan, a lifetime memory and global friendships. Many of this group

have shared further tour experiences together and remained friends

since. I set my mind on repeating the experience again before I get too

old.
I feel privileged to have had the support of Samantha and Dong

Shen to join with the TRCA tour this year. The challenge has been tough,

especially Wed/Thu but the encouragement and support from everyone
has helped make it a wonderful experience. Whilst the achievement

might be similar to 2016, this tour certainly surpassed it in terms of the

overall experience. I want to thank you all for enabling me to share the

experience with you. Special thanks to the tour organisers who over the

years have built on a small beginning and made a truly wonderful cycling
event. You should all be very proud.
